Stopbushproject is a slow archive. We don't chase news cycles, and we answer thoughtfully rather than quickly. If your message requires patience, you're already speaking our language.
Include the subject clearly in your subject line. Tell us who you are, why this matters, and what you're hoping we do with it. The more specific the better — we are allergic to vague.

Do you accept unsolicited submissions?
Yes. Unsolicited pitches and finished pieces are welcome, though our editorial calendar is selective. Expect a response within four to six weeks, sometimes longer if we're chasing something.
What kind of work are you most likely to publish?
Original reporting, lyrical essays, cultural criticism, interviews with practitioners, and archival rediscoveries. We love a piece that teaches us something we didn't know we needed.
Can I republish or translate a piece from the archive?
We grant permissions case by case. Write with the article title and intended use, and we'll route it to the original author and our rights team for a considered reply.
I noticed an error or have a correction.
We take accuracy seriously and welcome reader notes. Send the article URL, the passage in question, and your source. Corrections are noted openly on the original page.
